Paul is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries.
He develops superannuation and retirement income calculators for superannuation funds. He works closely with AHC, a leading creative communications company, in developing web-based calculators for accumulation and defined benefit funds. The calculators are intended for superannuation funds to enrich their online offering to members. He also assists funds and administrators with Class Order 11/1227 calculations of projected retirement lump sums and projected annual income streams in retirement.
Paul prepares valuations of employee leave liabilities such as long service leave and recreation leave. Advice to clients includes preparation of short-hand factors for estimating liabilities between full actuarial reviews.
He is also involved in the preparation of valuation reports for lawyers, including earnings and superannuation loss in personal injury matters.
Paul is currently undertaking the Fellowship examinations. He was awarded the Andrew Prescott Prize for meritorious performance in C6A Global Retirement Income Systems.
